End User Experience Monitoring
Monitor and optimise the end user experience for any type of application.
Application Performance offers multiple ways to measure end user experience. These typically fall into 2 types: Real user monitoringReal user monitoring (RUM) is a passive monitoring technology that records all user interaction with a website or client interacting with a server or cloud-based application. and Synthetic monitoringSynthetic monitoring (also known as active monitoring or proactive monitoring) is website monitoring that is done using a Web browser emulation or scripted recordings of Web transactions. Behavioral scripts (or paths) are created to simulate an action or path that a customer or end-user would take on a site.. Real user monitoring measures the real activity for every user, whereas Synthetic monitoring aims to replicate the activity of an end user through a software agent that tests your applications from multiple locations. In an ideal world you would want both Real and Synthetic monitoring as they both offer different benefits, but depending on the type of application you may only be able to do Synthetic monitoring.
Website Performance
Good website performance can be critical in boosting sales, visitor numbers and handling demand during peak periods. We monitor all page views from every user that reaches your site, so you can analyze usage and performance, and optimise where needed. We also offer multiple ways of improving speed and performance to improve the user experience on your site.
Desktop Applications
Windows desktop operating systems are used in the majority of organisations to allow employees to interact with business critical applications. These applications are often not monitored, which means crashes and slow downs aren’t tracked unless a user phones the help desk. We can help you gain visibility into the performance, reliability and security of the executables and binaries running on end user devices.
Mobile App Performance
iOS and Android Apps that work faster and perform better give you a competitive advantage. We can help you proactively identify and fix performance bottlenecks in your mobile apps, while providing real-time insights into your app performance. Visualize your app’s performance by device type, carrier, and region to gain end-to-end visibility of your mobile end-user experience.
Internal Applications
For Intranet applications, a key measure of success is user adoption, and if they don’t perform well, users will resist using them. We can monitor all page views from every user that hits your Intranet, so you can analyze usage and performance, and optimise where needed. We work with apps such as SharePoint, Seibel OneCRM, Confluence, and more.
SharePoint and Office 365 Performance
Application Performance has extensive expertise in monitoring usage and performance in Sharepoint 2007, 2010, 2013, and 2016 and now SharePoint Online. We also monitor Office 365 components such as OneDrive for Business, Skype for Business and Office web apps. We will provide early warning and determine whether the problem is with Microsoft, your ISP or your internal Network.
Citrix® Performance
Applications running in virtualized environments such as Citrix XenApp are often unmonitored. We have multiple ways to measure the performance of the Citrix Servers and the applications they are running. We can track key transactions through Citrix and see when executables consume too much resource or suffer crashes.
